I have two expectations of you with respects to your assignments. First, the assignment must be submitted to me through email. If you give it to me as a paper within the class, the assignment must also be submitted as a file through email. Second, all your assignments must be placed as a file within your individual portfolio's. If the assignment requires you to blog, you must tell me what the assignment is as well as the URL site of the blog. I hope that by the end of the course, you will have compiled a substantial portfolio of everything you did for this class.
Assignment 1:
(a) The art of emailing- Please email this assignment in on assigned date.
(b) Check out Festival ISU ahead of time.
(c) Watch this Youtube video and write two paragraphs as to what the message is: What is the message?
Assignment 2:
(a) Read the Seven deadly sins of students. As all of you will be divided into groups of fours (6 groups), two from each group will post their answers to the questions on the blog http://ci489fall09.21publish.com/. The other two students must read one of these blogs and submit either additional information, ask questions or post some comments to their colleagues blog. To access this blog you will have to sign up for it. It is free. Just follow the steps set out for you.

2. Each of you has to choose one of these places and write two paragraphs about it in your blog21 link. You must also submit questions to your partner concerning his/her site choice. Each of you in turn must answer respond to these questions.

1.You will use this week to prepare your presentation concerning "Involvement, Civics and Political Engagement'. For this assignment, you can one of two things:
(a) Do a powerpoint presentation that is 8 minutes long.
(b) Upload the presentation on to Streamline.com and do it from there (with audio already established). Remember, your presentation must not exceed 8 minutes.
Assignment 6.
For this assignment you will be required to create a 3 - 4 minute you tube video or a podcast. The you tube video or podcast must be about an artifact from home or high school which you feel represents you. Using the questions in this link http://www.ucollege.ilstu.edu/downloads/Artifacts.pdf, please consider how your artifact has shaped who you are.
